Just one of the concerning things on Alien

While I’ve skirted over to the topic of Aliens, can we just talk about those things that pop out of the eggs and then lay the next alien in the poor helpless human sacrifice? Not only do they JUMP out of the egg, they look like a penis attached to a pair of hands and a tail. WHAT?

The first time I saw this I was watching AVP and the only thing I could think was “What the hell is that?” If I saw that thing flying towards my face I think I would just die on the spot and save myself from that thing being shoved down my throat. And I’m sure since the majority of individuals working on AVP are male, at least one of them must realize the likeliness. The fans definitely do. Don't believe me? Type "Facehugger" into Google Images and don't say I didn't warn you.

Am I the only one concerned that this Facehugger (as it’s titled in the movie) that hurls out of a giant slimy egg and thrusts its proboscis (that’s the official term) down the victim’s throat while rendering them UNCONCIOUS looks strikingly similar to a penis (a horse penis more than a human penis but let’s just not get into that)? Coincidence? I THINK NOT. Either someone in that franchise has an odd sense of humor or some concerning sexual fantasies. Actually now that I look at it more the center part also kind of looks like a vagina so there’s that. Regardless, the whole issue is just slightly unnerving and by that I mean COMPLETELY TERRIFYING. Sorry for the nightmares.
